I’ve never been too fond of the narrative that depictions is the Earth have lice or cancer or some kind of illness that represents life/humanity.

While it is a creative approach, it always seems to depict life in a negative light which is both overdone and kind of shallow imho.

The Earth isn’t special because of all the pollution, oil spills and deforestation, etc. The Earth is special because it holds us. It holds life! That’s KIND of awesome!

She may be a little temperamental and unpredictable, but she’s our home! Let’s treat her like one, yeah?
