Judith Beheading Holofernes

This is a study of the famous Caravaggio painting from 1599. Done in oils on a canvas measuring 100 x 150 cm, so about three quarter size of the original. This took me just over a week to finish. Still got so much to learn, but compared to the smaller study of Judith I did a couple of years ago I can see that I've definitely improved a lot.
