The Gist with Morgan: Commander Conehelm

Share

You all already know what's an example of a bad show within Morgan's universe, but now it's time to learn all about a GOOD show that he and Sheffield love to ironically appreciate!

What I got here is one centered on a fella named Commander Conehelm, a corny, traffic cone themed superhero who belongs to a series of educational TV interstitials that teach and encourage children to follow the do's and don'ts of road safety or anything else that could pose as a hazard towards them, reminiscent of HB, Jay Ward, or generally UPA-styled cartoons of the 50's to early 70's.

His catchphrase is "Safety never takes a holiday!" and his superpowers include a strand of powerful hazard tape he uses as a whip like Indiana Jones, and being able to shoot red, yellow, or green beams out of his helmet that have the same functionality of a traffic light to obstruct evildoers. The red would halt an enemy's action, the yellow would slow down another on the move, and the green would be used to diverge their target to go off-course.

Clearly, Invincible and Omni-Man got absolutely NOTHING on him.
