anyways my windows 11 paint review:

It's actually a pretty decent art program, now that it has layers, and it's not that horrible for beginers to start with.

Sadly that also means that all the charm and simplicity of the original is gone, and unless you want to challenge yourself with only using the default colors and using the different brushes(like I did here), I don't recommend trying it as an experianced artist.

Even though I said it's pretty decent now, I only meant that because it has layers, which are one of the most important things for making digital art, other than that this program is incredibly limited with it not even having clipping layers or hue shifting.

To pick a custom color you have to open a separate window, which may not sound that bad, but the time wasted on it adds up really quickly.

And I haven't even mentioned the weird keyboard shortcuts, like B for fill bucket.. Really???

There's not even a shortcut for the brush, and you can't change it in the settings.

Speaking of the settings, they're pretty much just empty, all they do is allow you to change the theme of the program.

Microsoft. What the hell are you doing????

At least add a way to chose a specific size for the canvas instead of using that horrible corner extending thing.

So like i was saying this new version of paint is better, but I would still not recommend anyone use it.

There are so many way better free drawing programs out there(the one I use is called FireAlpaca its pretty good I think I haven't really used any other ones).

Wait i just realized i changed my opinion on the program in the middle of writing this i am not rewriting this shit

My final rating for it is 2.5/5 stars.

Its alright but why would you use it if there's way better alternatives out there
