I'm a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft, so i wanted to draw a big nasty great old one ripping a hole in space. A lot of lovecraft creatures tend to have a aquatic theme to them so i wanted them to have wings but look almost crab like. In the stories sometimes they describe these strange very organic looking crowns so I wanted that in there as well. And everything else is just me having fun with design and how i can combined all of these wants and needs I had for it. Thanks for the kind words!
