At the fair, I entered the annual blinking contest and actually made it to the finals, but then was defeated by Clumsy Edna, who 7 years ago lost both her eyes and her eyelids in a tragic grapefruit scooping accident. I was told it's her 7th win in a row.

From my new side project "Welcome to Shipsgrave!", an anthology of Lovecraftian short stories told by a boy who moved with his dad to a strange place with fishy locals. Inspired by "The Shadow over Innsmouth".
