I usually don't draw my sona but here I've got an excuse, I've finally actually named his species and even home planet, he is a Draconid from Planet Hydra, located in the Andromeda galaxy. So here's an actual design for his armor (maybe I'll design a casual outfit for him at some point but who knows). I know the black parts of his clothes don't look armored but it's been fused with liquid armor technology and has a diamond esque hardness when struck (que Metal Gear Rising quote). The gold parts are a gold-titanium alloy because these metals more abundent on Planet Hydra than they are on Earth (The blade is still steel because swords suck at actual fighting when they're made of different metals). His helmet is way more high tech than it looks, the helmet can tell what objects are just from looking at them, has x-ray vision, can read power levels, and more. It's basically like a phone that protects your head (I took inspiration from the Scouters in Dragon Ball Z and Iron Man's helmet).
