Nicky The Hedgehog (& Mecha Sonic MK0!)
ShareHey y'all! Back at it yet again with another quick piece of artwork. This time, its fanart for a change!
This artpiece was mainly drawn as a submission for the Sonic 33rd Art Collab, featuring Nicky the Hedgehog!
Nicky comes from an obscure manga published by Shogakukan in the early 1990's, based on the Sonic series in its infancy. Its basically superman, but with the iconic hedgehog instead, double secret life included. if you wanna read more about the obscure Sonic manga, you can read about it here on Sonic Retro!
If youre wondering about the other versions featured here, its mainly because i got bored and decided to add some extra flare for it to make it stand on its own, even adding another character into the mix for some fun.
Mecha Sonic MK0 comes from the Game Gear/Master System version of Sonic The Hedgehog 2, being the first robotic version of the iconic hedgehog.
