Clock's Birthday

I made this illustration as a project for the university a few months ago and i'm still happy with the result. it could be cleanner and better, but i still like it. This isn't at all as i usually draw, does it?

what does it mean ? i like it a lot but i struggel to understand it. does it have some deep hidden meaning ? or is it a referance to something ?

Oh, i forgot to explain it here...XD
The meaning it's kinda simple but it has to do with a spanish text called "instrucciones para dar cuerda a un reloj" by Julio Cortázar. I'm not sure if you can find the translate version over there but the point is that i drew literally one part that says "you are gifted to the clock".
As i said before, it was a work for the university where i had to use that text as reference and i thought it would be a funny idea ^^"
