Glowing Lake

This is half photograph and half digital paint, technically call a "Matte Painting." People seem to really like these, i do quite a bit of modification to the color and add "stylized lines" as well. Although I'm not sure I'm going to have much of a painting effect on the next one of these that I do. Repetitive horizontal lines start to do some very strange things at different resolutions. And that is frustrating. Plus I just want to see how people will like these without such a strong painting effect. We'll see . . .

I really enjoy your oil brush effects on your paintings. So sorry it took four years to get a comment on this picture? The hidden sun is quite dramatic and spectacular.
