I made a small side project just for fun, and this is to sprite the entire Skullgirls cast in this style.
I made a couple mockups with 2 redone stages i slapped together myself, and the unfinished boneyard background as i ran out of time to resprite it. I did however take the time to sprite Filia and Peacock.
It was pretty fun to sprite something like this once in a while.

I love the chessboard backround and floor and love the game like elements here, and pixel something really nice with sparkle of awesomeness and that's what you created here
