Artist Against AI - Vent Art Journal

Share

I might have to personally consider doing an art journal - or at least draw a bit more on the side while journaling as a whole.

Personal little vent on AI generated "art" because doom scrolling lead to a set of comments by AI content creators in support of such a thing - and ended up being promptly blocked. To me, arguing with them is proven futile as seen with others trying that and the supportive of AI crowd "invalidating" them.

So I blocked them in protest. You want to support that kind of tech, then you might not want to contact me in any shape or form. I'm a tech nerd myself but even this seems like a fad that just really needs to lose it's precious thunder. Already thought about doing a long winded vent over on my DreamWidth but that would be a pot stirring rage fest.

Even the fact that the supporters of this tech can be a bit more childish from what I've been exposed to (aka FB and Blue Sky, probably why I don't use it), I can't really expect them to change for the better.

Yes, humans like us "steal" other works but at the same time - has anything ever been 100% original? We get inspiration from other people's work. We actually learn from watching and observing others. Machine doesn't do that as I'm pretty sure it just uses the "data" for it's algorithm. Again, I say I'm a nerd and not an expert. I'm just taking a guess at what makes this work.

AI Should be used as a tool, not a replacement.

Art should be something of dedication and your own hardwork. AI is like cheating since you aren't doing it yourself.
