The shading on this piece goes NUTS, dude. I think you did an outstanding job illustrating Chai here. As a big fan of his character, you did capture his "care-free" attitude to a staggering degree, I love this a lot! I'm surprised there hasn't been more people who've noticed this, it's so cool! Your style is gorgeous.

Chai from Hi-Fi Rush flipping the bird. 🦜 Drew this initially when I heard the unfortunate news of Microsoft shutting down Tango Entertainment and thus canceling the planned sequel for this game. Took me a while to finish it because I kept getting pulled away by IRL stuff but I’m still salty about it. Ironically now that I'm posting this here, I heard that Tango Entertainment got revived by Krafton, which plans to extend Hi-Fi Rush's IP...hope this means we'll be getting that sequel after all! Fingers crossed!

Oh my gosh THANK YOU so much for the kind words!! I'm so glad you like the art, it really means a lot! Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've barely checked newgrounds these last few days. Yeah this drawing of Chai took me forever to finish initially because I was struggling hard drawing his robotic arm & the details on the guitar, glad it paid off though. :D
