OK HOLD THE PHLIPPIN PHONE PHIL. It's not bad! Not at all! I actually like this art style, like a ninja with a shotgun! Thoughhhhhhhhh (yes i don't say this lightly SOZ) Aside from this water-colored picture you have here, there's an uncanny amount of detail on that, bronze.. golden, sword that i believe could've applied just as well on the revolver next to it. (You know, keep the symmetry flowin')
The amount of shadow you have is craaaay, It's like you have two suns on the opposite corner! If you want to have more "fixed" shadows i suggest focusing the lighting on one point of the screen! (Ex. place the "sun" or lighting on the upper right and only add brighter colors on the left side of this charcter, saying this from the characters perspective!)
I like me some cowboys in the mornin', and as far is this going it's pretty solid! Keep improvin' my good sir!

I'm not sure what to think of it, I guess you tried to give this drawing the 2.5 D feel that the game has, but this is poorly made, and in the overall result, it just look like you only put effort in the shading to mimic it, I don't know what your intentions were, so I won't extrapolate too much, but the colors looks dull, and boring, it's bland and it sucks HNNNNG.
You should have used brighter colors, just like in the game, it makes it feel more.. Alive, it gives an expression, emotions.
You also should have tried to make the drawing simpler, more abstract, since you seem to have issues with details, the knife is a mess, that or just put more effort in it.
The overall result looks uniform and shitty, it feels inconsistant, and does not inspire anything, to the person who's watching it.

great art
