I got really confused when I was looking at this with the title giving context this was suppose to be offensive but the description makes it all much more new

Based on a shot from some old zombie movie "Ouanga" (1936).

Note: I'd like to say that although this piece uses stereotypical imagery, it is not in any way made to make fun of, offend, or hurt anyone. Most of my art has no meaning, but the aim of this piece is to take old, harmful depictions of black people and reinterpret them to make something stylized, poignant, and beautifully sad.

That's really nice to hear! I hate it when people continue to use old stereotypes / caricatures to be edgy, shocking, and hurtful. And as much as I like making shocking art, it's never done to punch down on people. I appreciate you taking the time to read the description :)
