I still believe the DC Comics reboot version was still a subtle nod to this version design wise.
Rosie the French Maid?

Imagine a world where Rosie the Robot is a French maid. Back in 1962 (or 2062 if you prefer), that almost happened in Season 1, Episode 1. Jane, out shopping for a maid after her Food-o-Matic packed it in, enters the 'U-Rent a Maid' and is shown three options. Agnes, an English nanny straight out of Downton Abbey, a stereotypical French tart-sounding robot named 'Blanche Cart', and Rosie. Oh, the endless R34 possibilities, but nooo...Jane had to go with the New Yawker.
