HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
A friend became an affiliate on Twitch as the next step towards quitting his retail job and making money being a dragon-loving dork. He has been getting bothered by artists trying to coax him into commissioning them for emotes but he has no money. Out of the hatred of my own heart, I pretended to know how to draw and opened MS Paint to craft him a trio of hideosities using a mouse (as usual) with my non-dominate hand (as usual) and was reminded of how obnoxious it is to draw lines with my right hand. I eventually gave up and used the line tools then went back and edited the heck out of them. I'm not an artist. Why did I do this? *grumble grumble* So, after MS Paint, I used GIMP for removing the background and Aseprite to animate the sandwich pillow thing. Overall, it's the usual roundabout nonsense I do to make something on my computer.
You would think a dweeb who loves all things dragon would aim for dragon emotes but he kept mentioning how he first wanted emotes of the two stuffed animals and a grilled cheese sandwich pillow. I surprised him with those... things... and he immediately added them to his channel. Hopefully, he'll earn enough to commission a professional set of emotes to help him become what he calls a "real streamer boy" but, as they say, Rome didn't fall in a day (or whatever).
Feel free to follow the guy on Twitch. Don't follow me, please. I did these on a lark (I mean the verb. Not the bird). I'm not an artist. I'm barely competent at my own job.
You may not use this work for any purposes.
