I’ve been thinking about making a little metal slug cartoon!!! Maybe this wonderful illustration is my sign to do it?

I remember losing so many quarters to the one boss fight in, I think, the second Metal Slug game. The one with the spinning aliens and the giant stone obelisks.

Anyways, the art was so good that it provoked a nostalgic memory from my past.
