The Machine believes in the materiality of thought. In its understanding, the more people know and think about you, the more complete you are as a being. All people connected to it must think only of it. Their entire consciousness must be endlessly devoted to thoughts of the machine. Their heads are empty, only "MACHINE MACHINE MACHINE MACHINE..."
To better understand the essence of the Machine, it is worth knowing that if you ask it the classical paradox "If a tree falls in a forest where there is no one, does it make a sound?", the Machine will answer that there is no such tree, and no forest either. Because it believes that the entire universe revolves only around the perception of the observer. Everything beyond that doesn't exist. That's why for her thoughts are material, because they are actually in the observer's perception and therefore they are real.
