Awesome. Love the robodino's design. Wish it was in colors.
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
This is my entry for Jazza's challenge of the month! Since the theme is Old V New, probably the first thought is a robot or a human from the future vs an ancient creature, right? Well, humans and machines are the present and the future, while dinosaurs existed in ancient times, but my thinking going into this was: why not mix things a little bit and do some sort of mystic humanoid ancient guardian fighting a giant dinosaur-ish looking 100% machine monstruosity? all in all this is just an excuse to draw cool things, and I put a lot of effort into drawing what in my mind I thought would be cool. I love this challenge of the month because no matter how crazy the picture is, even then you can see some meta themes like the struggle between nature and technology trying to take control over each other, or simply the clash between what already was and what's yet to come. And that's fun :3
So, this is my entry. Hope you like it!

Amazing!! Aaybe you could give it a little more contrast to the background to make the dinosaur and the robot pop up a little more, I love the creativity behind this!
P.S. I dont know if I should comment in english or spanish but I can speak both hahaha saw you talking spanish in another pic of yours
Buen ojo!
Wow just great, I saw this piece in the end of Jazzas video and thought I had to comment on this so I found it on newgrounds ^^ I just don't understand why this didn't get the attention it deserves in the video, apparently Jazza doesn't appreciate classic artwork if it's not coloured :P but all in all it's AWESOME I don't know how to express it better than this
Thanks a lot man, I'm really happy you think that! seriously, I really appreciate your comment, thank you :D
Yeah, I naively thought I had any chance with a traditional black and white artwork if I put enough effort in it, I was like "oh dude I'm sure this time I'll get featured in the video if I spend the whole month planning every detail of this thing and then put enough energy into the drawing, it's gonna be fun, this time I'm gonna draw hard and get Jazza-senpai's attention" but I should have realized those kind of things never get close to winning compared to those who actually have a tablet already, ironically enough. I can say that and keep ranting about it or instead I can try to be nicer with everyone and blame only myself for just not being skillful enough, or not putting enough effort into it, so my options are either just stop or try again with my wrist-killer mouse for whatever digital colored results I get (aka high chance of pain and failure). It's funny, the challenge was oldvnew and I guess you could say new does indeed beat old, adapt or die, survival of the fittest and all that, so maybe I should put traditional down when it comes to competitions and wait until I can someday import my dream tablet to my country :)
Once again, thank you for your comment! it is much appreciated.
Beautiful.
A good start, I like the line of action, but the lack of real values makes it really flat, I would like to see more darks and lights to push the perspective. And the outlining kind of ruins it for me too, if you were going to shade this then use the shading to represent the edges, it's a very good sketch to start the next step on but doesn't feel finished.
Dammit, I was going to throw some value with photoshop but I wasn't sure about adding more digital stuff than the little I already added D: I'm bad at making decisions. Do you think I'm still in time to do that?
