This is a story I've wanted to tell FOREVER. Revenge, rebellion, and the lengths we go to to protect the people we care about. I learned some tough lessons about where I can improve, but overall? I'm proud of what I've accomplished.

Always up for reading comics, so I decided to check yours out after you posted it in the forums. Overall, this is solid work. You succeeded in telling a self-contained story in these eight pages, so kudos for that - it can be a difficult thing to get right. Art-wise, your characters have good anatomy. Their faces seem to be inspired by anime, especially the eyes, and at times this leads to some awkwardness, like you're trying to force the anime eyes instead of working them naturally into your style. My most important piece of art feedback is related to setting: most of these panels feel like they're happening in a vacuum. Environments/backgrounds really do wonders in comics, and I encourage you to invest some time and effort into incorporating them more - trust me, it makes a huge difference. Keep on making comics and good luck with your future work!

Thanks for your honesty!

Somehow I hadn't realized how important setting actually was, even though, for example, Gotham City is half of why I love Batman comics.

I've also really struggled to figure out what my style even IS, so maybe it's time I bite the bullet and hash it out?
