I sketched Mr. Neill Blomkamp and his creature.

I have been fascinated with his works and recently I found that the secret of making "beautifully ugly" creatures is the flowing design.

That's a cool design and I do see the flowing nature you called out in that sketch. And the guy has a very chiseled cheek/high cheekbones. I think the girls outfit is very cute. =D

That is important. I interpreted American comic style in my own way, comic-like guy and anime like girl, but there is no clear border. I think this is an ideal style for me. Since I learned the comic style, I feel like my drawings have become "stronger", aside from whether I am becoming better or worse LOL
