I think the title makes sense xD Pun intended.

 This is a drawing showing Esdrael as a hunter, stalking a village to make his next attack to feed his beastly instincts... And yup, the blood in his jaw and tongue is because he already ate someone inside the woods, probably a villager from the place he's stalking. That's his modus operandi, he loves to detect a village, no matter how big or small, transform into a black stag delivering a "Bad Omen" for anyone seeing him and, one hour later, he attacks the village and eats whatever he can encounter to satiate his hunger.

 This a normal situation but, depending on when this happens, it's easier for him to escape and devour anything at his sight.

 Since his neutral form is unlocked when Agatha already had lost her mind and thinks she's superior to everyone, Esdrael escaping and killing people is something she praises him for. After that, when her reign is no more, she has to keep him leashed as much as possible in order not to drag the Church's attention, because they can't easily fight them back as good as they could if he could recover his true self. Due to the same, the only way she has to have him controlled is via sex. The more she bangs him the more he prone not to try and satisfy his beastly instinct. Due to the same, if Agatha doesn't satisfy him for some days, Esdrael escapes and do his killings because he's not dominated by his intelligence, but by his beastly-self, and that's why she mates with him daily. Still, even if fully satisfied, there are some situations where he just escapes.

 Normal and Beastly Esdrael are dominated differently: while Normal Esdrael is the one you constantly see talking and doing his things, making fun of people he just killed or being a total asshole... Or the cutest and most romantic spirit ever, his Beastly self is commanded by his instincts, and his reasoning is adapted to this, so he's less prone to listen or chat, and is more difficult to persuade him. Still, is not as almost impossible to deal with as with his Berserker mode, which is him with his reasoning completely commanded by War Instincts.

 Hope you like this drawing! I made it because I wanted to see him on his four legs. He's normally standing on his back legs, but also walks in four, normally when hunting or being creepy as hell.
