Ralsei Casting A Spell (V 2.0)

Another version I did as a way to experiment the limitations of Aseprite (the pixel software). It started lagging real bad, and I realized I shouldn't be doing these kind of renders there. Not only because it's laggy, but because "pillow shading" isn't too attractive to the eye

It looks more "sketchy" or "paint-y" if you will, because of how the shading seems to move more from frame to frame, but that honestly could work well as part of the art style of a game or something! Little bit of jerkiness in the animation in a couple of spots, but I understand that that may have been technical difficulties.

Projects-Dev responds:

It uses a thing called Pillow shading, which is highly frowned upon in pixel-art as it looks crummy. I learned my lesson ^^' was quite the fun experiment/entrance to pixel art though

Pixel art when there's a bunch of different size pixels is really uncanny but it looks pretty cool in this.

Nice

Projects-Dev responds:

Ay thanks, I appreciate it
