This is the 5th art video in the beginner's tutorials series and the 4th exercise in that book. In this video I talk about the Negative space. How to draw it, how to turn it into a positive outline and finally how to use all the methods we talked about before to deprogram your logical brain from using symbolism to draw things wrong. I go through many different examples from easy to hard and end up with a homework for you to improve your skills into a whole new level.
