It's said there was a fairy living at the lake.

The Church advised people to stay away from the woods. Not only the wilderness hides monsters and other dangers, but the fairy at the lake was rumored to feed on the souls of the people - and the priority of the church was to protect their flock.

It's been years since her first sightings - and even now, the hunters and the inquisition were unable to capture her.

The fairy watched then lazily, laying traps and singing enchantations to purify the forest. In all encounters, she shrug them off, oblivious to their presence and efforts to hunt her down. She was free, and there was nothing they can do.

Eventually the Church and hunters gave up, turning their attention to other matters. Time passes and the tale of the fairy at the lake slowly is forgotten. Nothing more than a story told to scare off children.

Sometimes, however, you still can spot under the shadows of the forest a figure of a woman. Laziing around, looking at the lake. Peaceful.
