The title of this picture translates to "The Pink Rose" in Spanish. 

This picture was originally posted on DeviantArt, which has given art lovers a lot of different tutorials to try so they can earn new badges. One of their tutorials teaches artists how to draw a rose. Since I like drawings of pretty flowers, I decided I might as well give it a try. As I followed the steps of the written tutorial, I tried as best as I could to get the petals and leaves right. The result was quite satisfying, if I do say so myself. Since my favorite color is pink, I decided to make my rose pink, hence why it's called "La Rosa Rosada". That's quite a clever play on words, don't you think? 

Anyway, I think this rose is one of the best drawings I've done yet. I can't wait to try out other drawing tutorials, because they really help me improve my skills as an artist.
