when we first met, we laughed, we played, we clicked, and just connected. he introduced me to a game that ended up connecting our friend circles together.

the Christkindlmarket. a German market that sets up in downtown Chicago. i was so use to going every year with family. but i had never been their on opening day. which is the same day the do the big Christmas tree lighting. alas since this was the first year living on my own i was probably was just going to go on my own. but he offered his hand and a hotel room. this was my first time meeting him in person. we had a blast but unfortunately due to the bad weather and getting lost we didn't get to see the tree like we wanted. i still enjoyed my time with him and even after i was suppose to go home i choose to stay a few more days and spent thanksgiving with his family.

i was never close with my family but his took me in and we choose to spend the holidays together yet once more. i was practically living with him at this point.
right before new years we head out to a new years party with some of my close friend and they got to meet him.
Jan. 1st 2018
on the way to train station getting ready to send him home. and it was then we were cracking jokes about how he has't asked me out yet. and then he did.

we moved into an apartment together. things moving kinda fast but fuck it we are wild and crazy like that.

been living together for half a year and we are about to hit our 1 year anniversary. it means a lot to me since i had never had been too hot with relationships in the past and they were lucky to even get past a week let alone a year.
I love him and he really has turned my life around. of course we still but heads here and there, but we are always able to work through things together.
