in Forlor Artania is a country to the east of tamitar, a fallen empire.

they used to have a god who declared his morals objective and helped them locate and kill vampires, as well as invade and spread Artanias religion outwards. violently imposing their gods will upon surrounding nations. enslaving and killing all who opposed them. but 100 years ago, he stopped talking to them, their god was suddenly gone.

vampire plauges began to run rampant. you see one vampire, you have to burn half the village to the ground to prevent the spread of vampirism. the forests had to be burned to prevent the vampires from hiding in the woods. the knights patrol the country at night, tired and blood soaked. all they do is search and kill. the population is minuscule compared to what it was 100 years ago. everyone lives in fear, and can barely ever sleep.
