Tried my hand at drawing Sergeant Blast and Private Meekly from Wacky Races (1968) if they were brought back for a more modern version/continuation of the show.

I imagine that the original Meekly would return, only much older. With his hearing fading away over the years due to all the explosions, yelling and racers engines blaring in his ears, it would make a bit more sense as to why he would misinterpret the orders Sergeant Blast yells out mid-race.

This Sergeant Blast is actually the original's daughter, who tries to be a lot like her father, but doesn't wish to be as rude as him either. She's got a short fuse and will get aggressive when attacked or insulted by other racers.

The Army Surplus Special remains nearly exactly the same, with the cartoony look to it intact. Even though it's taken some damage over the years, Blast is certain that it's still strong enough to race with.
