The Artist Army

I am 12 years old and this is my entry for Jazza's art competition.
First, a bit about the characters.
The character on the right is an inexperienced artist wearing a Spartan style helmet and wielding a paintbrush spear and a pallet shield.
The character on the left is a more experienced artist wearing a Viking helmet and wielding a crayon sword.
The character in the center is the embodiment of an idea, inspiring everyone around him.
Behind the characters are the silhouettes of the rest of the artist army.
And in the foreground you can see the artist army's greatest enemy, the dreaded blank canvas!
This is a picture of the background after I finished painting it.
And these are some pictures of my original ideas for weapons and the characters.
