The Big Sleep

Don't know the actor, but had a fun little doodle that lasted about an hour and half. For anyone interested in making a living off art, hear this. Don't you ever quit. Don't you ever tell yourself your shit when you look at other peoples work. Never compare yourself to anyone but yourself. Beat yourself, and be a newer, better version of yourself every morning you wake up. If art is the life you want to live, be committed to it. It will be your life partner. You will spend hours on your art everyday, and I ain't talking about 1 or 2 hours a day. I mean 4-8 hours ATLEAST. Work hard, stay hard, think hard, and most of all, enjoy what you do and fall in love with every art work you create.

Also I want to thank Newgrounds for having been such a huge part of my art life and actually being the cause for my art career to take off.

Cool piece. I like your imagined pieces better tho. I can appreciate that you stylized the portrait. And thanks for those words. My career hasn't started yet, but it's only a matter of time. I draw, sketch, and paint everyday for hours at a time. I wonder what it's like to make a living off art? When it finally happens to me, I will still be like "wow, I'm getting paid to have fun".

I would like to know how you did this, too. It's like a cartoon and a realistic drawing both at the same time! I could never do this good!

(His name is humphrey bogart)Looks awesome man, may I ask how you made this doodle? like what brush or something?
Also, the lil' text in the description made me feel real nice and inspired thank you, I'm feeling motivated to persist in any project I can be involved in!
