Hi everyone, is me Carlos (@rosarjc), first of all thank you everyone to make this possible, I’ve always dreamed to be a comic creator, to write and draw my own histories, but for work of study, I wasn’t able to me to draw anything, I’m not an Illustrator or graphic designer, I’m an architect in real life XD, but my journey as digital artist began on November 2023, when I saw the contest sweet sixteen-page comic contest hosted by @KittyhawkMontrose, and the last time I had drew something in that was 2 years ago, so I thought “Why not?”, then after that, I decided to join at the contest and of course, I didn’t win anything XD, my entry for the contest is the first thing I posted in Newgrounds (Dec 7, 2023).

After that I decide to draw and write my own histories and then there are the second entry I posted here, Jerssen Tales, now Herssen Tales.

And the original posts were delated (I'm still regret about that), but Herssen Tales is not the only thing I’ve posted here, I also joined in wonderful collaborations with wonderful people, and honestly the collabs helped me to grow more fast as I thought, and with the collabs I met wonderful people.

I met @Creeperforce24 and @EmsDelaRoz in the Pokémon Mystery Meat Collab, hosted by @Thetageist and @whimsical-wife.

@Creeperforce24 is a Wonderful musician, and @EmsDeLaRoz is Awesome programmer (Check out Boxanne!).

And I met @KittyhawkMontrose for the first contest XD.

The second entry I joined here was the OviVixen Test Contest hosted by @OviManic, and surprisely I won (the late prize, because I was late XD), but there are also other awesome works in the contest.

@OviManic is an incredible Game developer, I made two versions of his game (Check out OviVixen: Newgrounds Edition and OviVixen Master Demo, +18), honestly I think he made a wonderful game, but sadly I’m the ones who just stinks at videogames XD.

The last contest I joined was the Gorgon Shield art contest, and I didn’t win anything except I got a frontpaged in the cover of the page! Thank you @wamyremy and Newgrounds Administrators!

At the beginning I was afraid of what kind of community Newgrounds is, but with the time looking everyone works, I understood that Newgrounds is a Wonderful place to post and comment art, and people here really try to help you to improve your art or work, there are idiots of course (like any place), but most of the time people are polite, and you really feel comfortable talking with them, English is not my first language, but I’m putting all my efforts to transmit my feelings to you. I’m really thankful for all you to make this possible, seriously thanks.
