a batch of characters that i've been working on for the past few weeks! i spent a good while experimenting with character design because the art direction in zzz really activates my neurons. so even if none of this will become canon, it's just kept my brain running while waiting for zzz.

for Billy's original faction i went with a dingy cyberpunk western aesthetic focusing on cables, tassels and tied fabrics. the Regulators is a faction mainly comprised of androids and demihumans, but they all kind of look like they belong together because they're one big family. my hope is that we get aesthetics like this in game when Billy's actual backstory rolls around!

in my mind, Brewer, Elijah and Khitōn would be playable. 2oA, Hawthorn and Geoffrey serve as NPCs, while Unicorn would be an antagonist NPC exclusive to someone's story quest (probably Elijah's.) Atalanta would only be present in flashbacks.
