Sooo tiny! :D How do you even work with things at this size! Any special tools required?
Regarding the hands, I don't think they distract at all. They're not just good reference, but when angled the right way it's part of the aesthetic too. In the recent one with the hook for example, it's like he's riding a wave, the centering is still perfect; the forefinger/thumb a suitable backdrop. It lives it up a little. In this case maybe it's not as aesthetic, but reference: definitely necessary. Think it'd have looked best with just the metal rod though. No clay pack.

Actually there are special tools! And they are very special. So much so that I have to grow them myself!
It's cactus thorns! And by the way you can see one right in the picture. This is the support on which the figure is impaled. Yeah, I "hugged" it once when it fell off a shelf. My damn reflexes from the superhexagon were too fast for me to stop and realize that hugging had consequences.
And yeah, I think it's about the size of a baby, too.
Its thorns are much thinner than needles, not too short to be uncomfortable to use and also surprisingly durable. So this baby is not in danger of baldness at my hands.
Wow, "Sanford rides the wave of my fingers" is a surprisingly poetic observation for such an unremarkable view (⌒ω⌒)
And Yes, about a piece of plasticine, as a support. My phone was already struggling to focus on such a small object and my hands were shaking a little, so I had to choose a more stable position. And Yes, I realize that I probably should have removed it from the frame, but then the scale would be too small or empty ╮(´▽｀;)╭
But at least the preview is perfect! The youtuber, whose OС I made made this picture his profile picture in twitter for a couple of weeks which was very nice of him uwu
Like with the hollow knight, HOW?!? It's even smaller than the hollow knight!
Whats next, a one to one scale atom?
