The concept of this piece is that in the beginning of the story, the two axe parts finds itself in two different worlds; one of the future (cyberpunk) and one of the past (steampunk). Due to the axe's long-time separation, the universe these two worlds reside in is thrown off balance. Our two heroes, a rogue and a princess, must find their missing axe part and reconnect it in order to save their universe from internal, inevitable natural destruction. However, the catch is that when they put the axe together, they must give up their lives for the greater good.
