when I talk about Daphne's character to some people I tend to mention the Baywatch and Superman/Planet Krypton inspirations but it's not only limited to that.

another is the Sega Genesis game, Ecco The Dolphin (1992), to a point where eventually she gains brief cosmic abilities akin to her inspiration counterpart (including similar stars appearing on her forehead)

also that and she..tends to fight aquatic horrors OF and BEYOND comprehension lol.
