My first attempt at a sunset themed cityscape.
This is really cool. The dessert seems a bit lacking but the city really draws me in. Great piece.

That's not a desert lol the city is in a valley between mountains with forests surrounding it and the view is from across a body of water, but yeah the reason I left the rest lacking in detail was to let the city stand out and have it seem like it was standing alone amongst all else.
