BACK AGAIN WITH THE SECOND POST! Like I said in the one previous, Silly and Stacy aren't safe from the horror movie parodies >:]. If you know one thing about me (other than my undying love for Green Day and the fact I draw talking animals) is that I LOVE The Shining, it's one of my favourite horror films there is. I don't think anything could top Kubrick's film (Scream and Christine ALMOST took the spot- but they both didn't in the end), I don't know what it is but there's always something new that I find off-putting when I come back to watch it again. Whether it's the acting, the score, the direction, ANYTHING- there's always something new that puts me on edge when I watch it. Can you tell I love this film? HAH. So much so that I've been reading the novel the film adapted too, and yeah that probably takes away some of the scares but surprisingly it doesn't?? Reading The Shining is like experiencing the story and characters all over again. Which is a really good thing by the way, I like the book and film in their own separate special ways (though I am tempted to watch the BBC adaptation after finishing the book, people said it's kinda bad so I'm curious to see how bad it is). Might get to reading Christine when I finish The Shining.. BUT LET'S GET BACK ON TRACK SOMEWHAT. This is another sorta poster redraw (like what I did with the Scream parody with Bex) and it features Stacy as Wendy in probably the most iconic scene out of any horror film- that probably sounds like a bias there but you get what I mean. Even though this scene has been referenced a TON it still does give me massive chills when I see it during a rewatch of the film- it's so chaotic with the crashing of the door being destroyed by the axe and Wendy's screams for Jack to stop- fuck, man that scene always gets me (alongside many others cough cough The Bat Scene cough cough ). So I really wanted to give this scene everything with this drawing- I know it may look a bit silly (holy moly I said the thing- I said her name-) with it being talking fantasy animals but put in a horror movie but that's the point of this- it's a funny little parody of it all.

I wonder who it is that's on the other side with the axe....
