Today marks the 25th anniversary of Star Ocean: The Second Story. I have a ton of nostalgia for my sister playing the game on the Playstation when I was 6 years old; The cheeky Playstation 1-era voice lines, the character sprites, the frustration of beating the boss in the Mountain Palace... It's all there. So what's this have to do with Earthbound? Well, nothing. I just wanted to draw what the SO2 characters would look like had the game been released on the Super Nintendo by Creatures Inc.

This is only a preview of what I made though, I made entire sprite sheets of the characters and their animations as if SO2 really was a "quirky Earthbound-inspired JRPG".
