HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!

I consider the act of art in whatever form to be a ritual of unrealized magick. When I describe art as being truth, what I mean more than reflecting one's own visions of the self, it reveals how gripped we are by the notions of our societies and our place in it, and how close or far we are from harmony within the self.
If creation is the act of love, then love is the act of creation, and it perceives no figure or conditions. This might indeed further reveal why tantric workings reveal a purity that often eludes us or proves impervious to our ego and pride.
Why our greatest joy is found within that which we do not cling to but embrace in the moment.
=========================================
There is a general belief of mapping out and defining the matter of life and all the feelings and thoughts which pass through us. And this too follows often in art. But this act in itself does not elevate us nor give us greater understanding. It merely lowers and binds the notions of that creativity, that energy to this world.
We want to treat this unknown divinity within ourselves as a key to unlock doors when in reality both it and us are open doors. There are no keys, we just aren't perceiving what is potentially coming through.
We are like drops of water, and believe we can be part of the greater meaning that is an ocean if we perform complex and deeply involved tasks. But we are already water in the ocean. It's just that those tasks and beliefs are like a glass bottle that divides us from becoming part of the whole.
=================================
We often seek complex answers and solutions then to what we consider to be complex issues within ourselves. That is ourselves.
But this act is the equivalent of placing your fingers in a finger trap and trying to brute force them out to find a supposed solution to what you do not even understand.
You'll receive an answer in the end but it will either mean you break the finger trap or break your fingers.
The reality of it is that we cannot force or combat ourselves on these grounds. The answer is finding acceptance, calmness, and peace with our condition so that we can better understand it.
With a gentle hand and calm perspective, we will actually find our solutions and realize we did not need to harm ourselves to find them. We can do this through art.
We can find our magick through art...
