This was the first project I've made that utilizes Adobe Illustrator's 3D tools. It's not perfect (the dragons were rough), but it was a joy to experiment with. Hopefully they add more texture-friendly features to it (I would love to add scales to the dragons). 99th Street is a level in Jet Set Radio Future and is one of my favorites. The flashy ads, the detailed and lively city, and the beautiful dragon pagoda that sits in the center. It's not a perfect recreation, as I used both JSRF and Sonic All-Stars Racing as references in order to make this city.

The hardest part was creating the pagoda. I had trouble finding good angles for reference and Illustrator's 3D capabilities aren't that great with more complex shapes. The dragon heads were hard due to the way Illustrator handles layers and shape extruding.
