Well, after an estimated of 20 work time, I have finally finished this piece! The original sizes for both of these are 5K, and 10K in width when combined!

After finding some artwork of these two online, I fell in love again. I wanted to draw what is not only my favorite Mario Party hosts, but probably my favorite Mario characters, period. I know that probably sounds silly, but I really love sun and moon motifs and designs in general! I think they're really nicely designed, too. I also realized that Mario Party 6's anniversary is in four days of the time of I am posting this! Mario Party 6 is by far my favorite Mario Party game!

I wanted to draw Brighton and Twila with a Shine Sprite and Power Moon respectfully. If it wasn't for Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Odyssey, this probably would not have been possible.

I experimented a lot in SAI 2, from trying out new brushes, to the new ruler tools. I will admit that I struggled to get the coloring and shading stage down pat, and I need to figure out how to fix that. Other than that, I actually liked how these turned out. It could have been better for sure, but it could have been worse too.

I do not have a timelapse of the Brighton's side, sadly. I do, however, have the timelapse for Twila's side! I also decided to upload the standalone versions of these underneath the combined versions. Twila is also thumbnail, as I prefer her over Brighton.
