Clearly the tentacles in this picture represent the poor living conditions of refugees out east who are so cold and hungry that any shelter will do. The out of focus effect gives me more mystery into what kind of people there are.
The shadow is the confusion and darkness cast over them in their time of need.
I see now what a true believer in the never ending quest of art looks like.
