Remember the pic of the dude with the big ears two posts ago? That was based off my friend who was so self conscious of his big ears. I drew it to make him feel less bad about himself. I ended up making a comic years ago with the same character. Obviously I killed him off in this part of the comic😆 This piece is years old.
Well, the same friend that this character was based off of hasn't texted me in weeks. I’ve honestly been worried sick because he was showing signs of depression. I found out today that he has been in the hospital and the doctor wouldn’t let him have his phone to contact anyone. So I assume he tried to commit suicide which was why he he hadn’t texted me in a while.It’s ironic. Years ago I killed off his character then he ends up trying to kill himself in real life. I think 2019 is not going to be a good year for me.
Your art looks great here! A lot texture and drama! Kinda scary, darkness .. like like the story behind the comic.. It's kind of sad but it combines

Oh the description has nothing to do with the story of the comic itself. The original story was about a plague that killed half the population (all the females) so the men frantically try to find a way to increase the population so the human race won’t die out. But due to the persuasion of powerful households the focus shifts to greed to take over each other’s territory. Instead of trying to find out a way to increase the population, a war erupts and each and every man is forced to kill each other to survive.It’s kind of like Lord of the Flies now that I think about it 😆
This was drawn many years ago. It’s only coincidental that the character with the appearance of my friend dies and then my friend ends up you know...not texting me as if he was dead.Thankyou for the compliments! Yeah that texture is pretty cool. It’s crazy how many cool brushes are on SketchClub. I recommend that app way more than Procreate.
