Hades

I give you Hades; brother to Zeus and Poseidon and lord of the underworld!

Ahhhhh this took around 6 or 7 hours as well.... very fun to paint again and also quite happy with the result :) Ive wanted to paint the three brothers for a long time! Ever since I played God of War I think haha. Oh and when I say three brothers I mean Zeus, Poseidon and Hades :D The other two are on my profile.

Hades was trickier for me. As lame as it sounds - creating the faces for Zeus and Poseidon were a lot easier because you just whap a beard on them and they look ace... But hades doesnt have a beard. And being the lord of the underworld I wanted him to have quite a cheeky grin on him and reaching up as if he wants to overthrow Zeus.

Painted on a wacom cintiq 12wx in photoshop :)

Hope you guys like :D

He's my favorite god in Greek mythology.

I've seen the two other portraits of Zuez and Poseidon, and those are good, but this one...I just love. I can't stop looking at it, thez flames on his head look great, so do the flames at the bottom and his hand. The markings on his body really stand out compared to the two others markings. Nice teeth, btw. I see that youi made skulls coming out of the flame in his hand, good job on that. :D I love his pose. I just can't get over his toga, looks odd to me, not sure why...But overall it's great! :D

OMFG !!

I'll kill myself .. O.O
