One of the first original characters I ever drew! Luna holds a special place in my heart for that, and after years of doing nothing with her, I went to Norithics to finally give her an updated design! Below is a detailed character sheet for her, enjoy!

Character Description
Alumaril normally grow to be a bit larger than their human cousins, but Alumaril had never fully grown up. She has an adult form that she can shift into now, but being converted at a younger age left her feeling as though her shorter stature was her "natural form," the way she should be. So aside from her skin growing much more lustrous and bright, and her hair fully blackening and having her original blue shade as a mere tint hinted at in her locks in the right light, she's mostly the same. Yes those black horns, that fluffy little tail, her slitted eyes, and even the long black claws and spiked joints are simply the way a little sweet alumaril girl looked. Lovely! She has four arms, and originally had wings along the middle of her back, but has since taken to unforming her wings and instead melding them with her lower arms, making clothes easier to wear and making her... slightly less immedietly offputting to people afraid of demons. Between all that, she even had hooves and long, elfish ears. She simply had nothing going for her as far as not upsetting people at a glance. At least for most people's tastes, even her curvy figure was simply not the first thing that caught anyone's eyes. So instead of relying on her cuteness, she has to sway people with her personality!

P.S. Her name is simply a name people thought was cute! Alumarils that don't go demon are too short lived to have clans or long lines of descendents, so parents choose the last names, and often the kids themselves will pick their first name based off the names they hear in their youth. A certain friend of hers was often out at night, some of the locals calling him a child of Luna. When she asked about this, he started to say he was rather the child of a foul woman name Lolth, but changed his mind at the last moment, and instead told the young girl his mother's name was "Lili." Ardat was simply a middle name she adopted thanks to a 'nickname' this same friend often called her when she wasn't around, "The little Ardat." He never did approve of her taking the last name Lili, her mother having originally intended to give her the last name Lovebird, but he didn't have the heart to tell the orphaned girl no.

Powers: Like most demons, she has a plethora of unnatural powers. To list a few, Luna can shapeshift moderately, changing her appearance in minor ways. The more extreme the changes though, the higher the demand for energy, so partakers of this need to pay up with a bit more than usual sessions. She can also turn herself invisible, fly, teleport short distances, and also has minor mental powers such as a weak form of hypnosis and the ability to put her targets to sleep, arouse them, or otherwise affect their mood and energy.

Personality
Years ago she was naive and a bit brash, constantly rushing into things without putting much thought to it, such is the nature of a shortlived creature like herself. But over the years of her own experience after becoming a succubus, and the years she was raised by her friend, she's grown to be more cautious. Not careful, but aware of the world she was in. She's overly quick to please and friendly to anyone she meets, always happy to help and befriend even completely strangers without hesitation. She is drawn to people of all fields, always eager to learn as much as she can. Now that she's essentially immortal, one would think this ravenous thirst for knowledge would have slowed, but instead she's more curious than ever! Now she realizes just how much time she has to learn things, and how much there is to learn! She's a soul guided by the desire to know as much as she can.

Oh, and she's still the kind of person who wears their heart on their sleeve so hard they'll literally purr with pleasure or hiss at things that upset her~

Background/History
Luna was a young alumaril, a hybrid species born when a succubi or incubi spawns a mortal creature with demon's blood. Almost no two alumarils look quite the same, though they all have similar traits. Relatively short lifespans, latent natural magic talent, demonic blood, and a weak soul. Alumarils are easily swayed by their desires and the world around them, adapting and influenced by the behavior of all they meet. They live ephemeral lives, unless corrupted. Due to their weak, fleeting souls, it is quite easy to sway them to sinful temptations. Once they tip the scale, their soul will crystalize into a purple gem. True demons will often take advantage of this as an easy way to harvest soul gems. Although their spirits are weak when mortal, soul gems, even small ones like theirs, can be used to store vast amounts of magical energy and are necessary for most mortals to use more powerful, demanding magic on their own, as well as used in the underworld in various tools both industrial and personal. Once their soul is crystallized, alumarils will take on more demonic traits, such as their schlera blackening and their skin taking on bright, alluring, unnatural colors like their demon heritage. Normally the loss of their soul will lead to them degrading to the demonic behavior their new form would lead one to presume of them, especially with immortality now on the line as opposed to their previous short lives. There are exceptions, however, where a lucky little alumaril gets raised by kindhearted souls and their innocence is preserved long enough that even should they succumb to their demonic fate, they keep that good nature and learn to use their new form for good. Luna was one such lucky soul.

So now Luna is a good-natured succubus. Sure she needs her healthy diet of mortal energy and souls, but she doesn't wanna hurt anyone. She's not naive enough to simply not realize her sexual nature or her own needs though, so she does what comes natural: A whole lot of affection. Kisses? Blood? Sex? All of these and more are methods for her to get her fill, but they all come with the risk of getting carried away and draining her partner. So her, and others like her, have opted to instead create a tavern of sorts that provides free services, with volunteers offering a weebit of their soul and energy for the chance to have fun with the workers. They always try to cut people off before they lose too much and risk any injury or overdrawing. Souls can grow back over time in most mortals~

Accessories
Among other decorative things she may wear on occasion, is one trinket she always keeps on her: A special, silver bell. Made in pairs, these so called Star Chimes are silent, but will ring whenever their sister bell is held in one's hand and shaken. Usually given to long distance lovers, Luna instead shares one with her long gone friend. Once a week, she rings it, and as long as she hears a response within an hour, she knows he's still alive.
