I put too much effort into this to get it done by the actual New Year, or even just the first week like other people did. I'm always busy this time of year with family, and I didn't plain the bg well (I drew him in a sitting pose before finalizing what object he's sitting on...duh), and I finally got it 95% done just in time to start getting carpal tunnel at work. Oh well. I think the work paid off.
