Mickey Mouse After Public Domain

Share

After Mickey went public domain, he lost his empire, Minnie Divorced him, and his friends are still at Disney while he was let go. So now mickey lives the rest of his life in the New York City Sewers looking for food and shelter.

It should be noted that only the original version of Mickey Mouse from Steamboat Willie (1928) is now in the public domain. The modern depictions of him as seen in Fantasia (1940) onwards are still protected under copyright and owned by Disney. I don’t think they will let go of Mickey Mouse completely. Overall I get the point of the joke with the drawing and it having the “Fuck (Modern) Disney” message.

“Gosh!”
