Dū-Tang was raised in a deep enchanted ravine. As you read in the concept, Sporelings have delicate bodies and ate rotting matter. This guy is a completely different case. Unlike the others, he ate rocks, mushrooms, and whatever else you would find in a ravine. As noted before, Sporelings have very delicate bodies, however Dū-Tang is the opposite. Because of his strange diet, his body is just as tough as what he ate, taking the statement "You are what you eat" literally.

Unfortunately, his body isn't 100% rock hard. His body fluids are extremely corrosive. His blood, saliva, sweat, etc will disintegrate most matter. Because of this, his hands remain just as frail as the standard sporeling due to the amount of sweat they produce. So he wears gloves made from a special material that matches with the rest of his body's durability.

The gloves he wears are modified to solidify his toxins and form them into chains. Since his body is poisonous and corrosive internally, these chains can stretch for miles. With this, he can also use the Jade Telson (sword) as a whip, a ranged weapon, or just your standard sword. Although all of these feats are impressive, Dū-Tang is primarily focused on swordsmanship without using special powers, saving them for formidable opponents. He has mastered to use his sword with any hand, hand to hand combat and air magic.

His weapon is based on the Chinese Dadao sword. Abilities are inspired by the Indian Urumi, Mortal Kombat Scorpion's spear and Roronoa Zoro. The name is a bit of a play on set of words meaning Poison Soup in chinese (毒汤)
